The Hogg All Weather Original is a 'dual use' boot - so it is ideal for touring where you will spend time off the bike, walking or sightseeing.

The ankle area is protected by Astroshock, midsole 2-3 season polypropylene with graded flex point, which has good crush resistance properties. The lining is Sympatex waterproof, so the boot is suitable for all year round use, and the whole build of the boot is strong and protective.

- Ankle protection, 6mm astroshock impact absorbing material
- 2.4mm full grain water repellent Anfibio leather upper made from UK/European bovine hides
- Sympatex breathable 4 layer lining with military grade waterproof membrane interlayer
- Tri-Flex 3 season midsole, crush resistant to BSEN 13634:2010 requirements
- Altberg Rhino sole, shock absorbing oil resistant rubber and cleated hiking boot tread, tested to level BSEN 20344 SRC slip resistance
- Footbed: Trek Airgrid Black

Now Altberg's best design, but well made,

Altberg make great boots and they do last, these Hogg boot made for motor bikers are tough and will last. The leather is a great cut and takes a lot to break in. But, my review a star down form a five star review due to the waterproof lining is loose in the fore foot section of the boot, and I feel will wear in time, and no padding in the lower sides and front foot section of the boot - you have to wear thicker socks.

Overall, its a great boot, shame they couldn't keep the design of the higher leg boot or the leather over lace strap.

After waiting over 3 months for altbergs to fulfill my order a friend suggested Silverman's, they had my size in stock, delivered next day, just in time for a 450 mile round trip to the Highlands, Inc riding through storm Ashley! Boots were perfect. Dry feet. Comfy. Recommended.

Best bike boots ever

This is my third pair of Altbergs and my second pair of Hoggs. The first pair have just started to leak a little after 14 years and many thousands of miles. New ones comfortable straight from the box. Brilliant both on the bike and off. Excellent service from Silvermans as they had the boots in stock so I didn’t have to wait a few months as when I have ordered direct from Altberg as I have in the past.

After dealing with Altberg directly which weren't very helpfull. I was told to contact Silvermans they couldn't have been helpfull they supplied me with my Altberg Hogg boots the next day I will certainly use them in the future.
